Feeling Stuck? 3 Steps To Get Into Productivity Mode Fast
Have you ever feel that whenever you stop for a little while, and take some time to relax or do something different, you come back to your business and feel totally stuck? You must be familiar with that weird feeling where you’re just going around the same circle over and over again, and can’t find the way out. Well, I don’t know you, but I get stuck very often, and in the past my way to get unstuck was to just quit and move to something else.
Not any more, when I committed whole-heartly to my online business I made it my goal to come out the stuck mode, no matter what. So I came up with the following 3 steps that have worked miracles for me, maybe they can help you too:
- Learn to admit when you are stuck. This is like admitting that you’re fat and need to loose some weight, before anything happens you have to admit it. It might not be as easy to recognize when you’re stuck though, so here are some good questions to ask yourself. Are you getting the feeling that you’re not progressing as you should? You keep piling the important work for later, like calling your prospects. If you answer yes to at least one of these, then you’re more likely stuck.
- Have a list handy of the 3 most important money making activities in your business. For me the most important one is talking to my prospects and closing sales. If I’m not talking to people I make no money. PERIOD.
- No matter how much work you feel you have behind, and how much has piled in, do at least one to the 3 important activities first thing in the morning. Don’t go check your emails, or read your mail. Make a habit to devote your first hour of productivity to that one activity that more likely will bring you more money. And trust me that will never be checking your emails!
You will soon find out that getting into motion, no matter how stuck you feel is quite liberating and gives you that great feeling of accomplishment.
Don’t just sit to see how more suck you can get, change that today by taking consistent action towards your achieving your goals.
For example if you make one call, it makes it a lot more easy to make the next and the next, a few minutes later you realized that it was easy after all and you have more likely already finished with the most important work of the entire day.
